GRILLING GURU STEVEN RAICHLEN SHARES SECRETS OF GREAT BARBECUE

STEVEN RAICHLEN DEMOS HOW TO HAVE

PERFECTLY GRILLED FOOD EVERYTIME YOU HIT THE GRILL.

Summer’s here and 90% of the country is grilling according to a new survey--in fact, 56% are cooking out at least one time or more per week. You’d think that such “Frequent Grillers” would be very confident when it comes to BBQ technique. Not so—86% admit to being so worried about burning the meat that they move it constantly and commit other BBQ faux-pas. There is a solution to this problem—and award-winning author, journalist, teacher and host of the popular PBS series, “Barbecue University with Steven Raichlen”, has it.  Steven will give us quick and easy tips on grilling a complete meal, including dessert.  He’ll show us:

·       How to cook an entire meal on the grill from brats and side dishes to a tasty dessert.

·       How to insure your grilled meats are perfect every time.

·       How you can grill at 3 different temperatures at once, so you can cook foods that require different cooking temperatures all together.

·       The inexpensive  grill-top “hot-tub”--- perfect for adding extra flavor to meats, fish et al

·       Important safety do’s and don’ts for cooking meats and grilling in general.
