MÖTLEY CRÜE
Extends the Red, White & Crüe 2005 Tour… Better Live Than Dead

Mötley Crüe is adding a second leg to their widely successful Red, White & Crüe tour with a stop in your city. Talk to members of the band about the reunion, the announcement of more shows and the tour so far.
The reviews from the first few dates of the self-proclaimed “Loudest Show on Earth” -- which includes fire-breathing midgets, aerial displays and assorted circus freaks and geeks -- have been uniformly enthusiastic.
The additional 55 shows will take place after the band returns from its tour of Europe and Asia, beginning July 26 running through Oct. 16. These dates, dubbed “Carnival of Sins,” will feature festival-style amphitheatre and arena dates with fellow Island Records recording artists Sum 41 and some of the hottest new rock bands in various markets, to be announced.
Red, White & Crue is Mötley Crüe’s first tour since 1999 featuring the four original members: Nikki Sixx (bass), Mick Mars (guitar), Tommy Lee (drums) and Vince Neil (vocals). It follows the Feb. 1 release of "Red, White & Crue," a two-disc best-of set that features 37 tracks, including three new songs: "If I Die Tomorrow," "Sick Love Song" and a cover of The Rolling Stones' "Street Fighting Man."
A pre-sale of these dates will begin March 2nd on AOL cityguide (www.AOLcityguide.com), with general tickets on sale March 5.
B-Roll of the tour will be provided to participating stations.
