Andrea has written four books including Dog Friendly Dog Training (IDG, 1999), Train Your Dog the Lazy Way (Macmillan, 1998), The Little Book of Dog Tricks (Howell, 2002) and On the Road With Your Pet (Fodor's, 1998). She is the behavior columnist for The New York Dog magazine, has been the behavior columnist for Dog Fancy magazine and is a contributing writer for numerous other dog magazines.
Andrea's credits include being the resident professional trainer and field correspondent for The Pet Department, FX's Emmy award winning daily show about pets. Andrea's appearances also include 20/20, The Today Show, Live with Regis and Kelly, The View, Dateline NBC, CBS News, and CNN as well as numerous other television and radio shows.
Andrea has served on the Board of Directors of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, is on the Board of Directors of Animal Haven Shelter and Sanctuary, is a member of the Dog Writers Association of America and a Certified Pet Partners Team evaluator for the Delta Society therapy dog program and the AKC's Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test.
