FOOTBALL HALL OF FAMERS COMPETE
NOSE-TO-NOSE TO FIND NFL’S
ALL-TIME LOUDEST SNORER
Oakland Raiders’ Jerry Rice to Help Judge Snoring Competition
STORY:
For more than a few NFL players, the sounds of snorting, gasping,
grunting and wheezing fill the air on and off the field. While those
sounds may be football-induced noises during the day, at night they
are sure signs of snoring.
To determine
whose snoring scores the most deafening decibels in the NFL, Pro
football Hall of Famers Jim Taylor, one of Green Bay’s prolific
rushers whose single-season rushing record set in 1962 was recently
eclipsed by Ahman Green, and Bobby Bell, the first Kansas City Chiefs
player to be inducted, went nose-to-nose at the Second Annual Super
Bowl Snore-Off. Oakland Raider Jerry Rice, was on hand as the official
referee and judge of the Snore-Off.
The contest was
initiated by CNS, Inc., makers of Breathe Right nasal strips and
Snore Relief
throat spray, to help raise awareness about the seriousness of snoring
and its causes and treatments. Breathe Right nasal strips are part
of the game-day uniform of more than 125 NFL players, who wear the
strips to help them breathe better and recuperate faster during
competition.
