SATELLITE DEBUT OF DETAILS:
Revolution Studios’ Mona Lisa Smile, starring Julia Roberts,
wasn't released until December 19, but you can enjoy some of the
sights and sounds of the film much sooner. The music video for Elton
John and Bernie Taupin’s original single “The Heart
of Every Girl” will be made available via satellite on Tuesday,
December 2, 2003 at 9 am ET. The Mona Lisa Smile soundtrack was
released by Epic Records, a division of Sony Music, on November
28th. The soundtrack features on all-star lineup of today’s hottest artists performing new versions of popular standards. Joining Academy Award and Golden Globe Winner Elton John and Bernie Taupin are Celine Dion ("Bewitched"), Macy Gray ("Santa Baby"), Chris Isaak ("Besame Mucho"), Mandy Moore ("Secret Love"), Kelly Rowland ("I'm Beginning To See The Light"), Alison Krauss ("What'll I Do"), and Lisa Stansfield ("I've Got the World on a String"). In addition, Tori Amos, who also has a featured role in the film, has recorded two tracks on the album ("Murder, He Says" and "You Belong To Me"). The soundtrack was produced by Grammy Award winner Trevor Horn. Revolution Studios’ Mona Lisa Smile, which will be released nationwide on December 19 and stars Academy Award winner Julia Roberts, is an uplifting and poignant drama about one women's desire to enrich the lives of her students. Mona Lisa Smile is set in the early 1950's at Wellesley College. A young and talented supporting cast, featuring Julia Stiles, Maggie Gyllenhall and Kirsten Dunst, joins Roberts in the film. Mona Lisa Smile will be distributed by Columbia Pictures.
