Legends Dan Marino and Joe Montana Squared-Off in
Houston for Kraft’s Super Bowl XXXVIII Quarterback Cook-Off
STORY:
On January 20, 1985, Dan Marino and his Miami Dolphins fell to Joe
Montana and his San Francisco 49ers 38 to 16 in Super Bowl XIX.
Now Marino, after 19 years will have a chance for revenge as he
squares-off with Joe Montana in Houston for Kraft’s Super
Bowl XXXVIII Quarterback Cook-Off. The two NFL legends will not
be throwing touchdown passes or running quarterback sneaks, but
they will be helping Chef Paul O’Connell, representing the
New England Patriots and Chef Tobin McAfee, representing the Carolina
Panthers, in a competition for the coveted “Who Throws The
Best Super Bowl Party” trophy.
Both of the
chefs are members of the Taste of the NFL, an organization of chefs
from across the country and players from each NFL city. During Super
Bowl weekend, Taste of the NFL hosts a fundraiser that benefits
America’s Second Harvest.
